Suraksha - Self Defense Workshop Phase 3

In a world filled with unexpected cruelty, it is essential for one to be capable of standing up for themself. Self-defence is an important element of one's safety. With this idea in mind, RCBI initiated the third phase of Suraksha, a self-defence workshop designed to train young students the basic self-defence techniques which can be used to protect themself in unfortunate circumstances.

Rotaractors from the club visited BGMS Shishukunj Vidyalaya to instil the spirit of self-defence in the young orphan students at the facility. A total of 180 girls and boys indulged in a fun and intense workshop hosted by Mr. Shivu.

In an era when crimes against women are on the rise, self-defence is of great significance and extremely important for students. The Rotaractors at RCBI extend their heartfelt thanks to Mr. Shivu for his blazing energy throughout the session and for his excitement to teach children how to protect themselves.

The club wishes to continue this significant initiative throughout the year training one school at a time.
